I first met Mike Lawler at a rally for the 45th President, in New York. We heard about it from a local,who heard about it from social media. The rally was fun. We met some really committed folks, who are sick of the current administration and want a real leader. I told Mike about the website. He thought it sounded good. So, when I asked him if he wanted me to talk about him, he gave me permission to use his name and image on the website.

(For those who wonder why I never use Orange Daddy’s actual name, it is because I have not been able to get official permission. It is more complicated than social media, because my site is also tied to our gear.)

I told Mike that he needed to defuse the smear campaign that is being waged against him. It portrays women “wondering” about Mike’s position on women’s healthcare and how he would take away their rights! This is all nonsense, and I’d like to think I had some part in his website’s very clear stance on women’s healthcare!

Congressman Lawler also is a firm supporter for Seniors (Medicare and Social Security). This is despite attempts to portray him as someone who take away their Entitlements! These falsehoods rankle, especially nowadays, when everything costs way too much. Seniors shouldn’t have to sacrifice their health, in order to eat! At the same time, he wants the US government to try and behave in a bipartisan way, for the good of the country. Mike is pushing for the government to be fiscally responsible.
